The goal of this project was to develop a series of toolkits that would allow NatGeo Music the possibility to execute several interstitials with a minimum production cost -just using video clips footage, CD covers or pictures of the artists. In this case the tricky part was not making the toolkit easily editable (although it is) but give NG the means to create content which would have its own unique stamp.

With relation to the graphic style we had to stick to the channel’s general guidelines but were free to expand the image package so that they function as a sort of Idents, where the channel was the unequivocal issuer.

We sought five storylines –artist’s journey, instrument’s journey, style recipe, hyperlinks and six steps between . For each storyline we developed a toolkit so that all of them would serve as an interchangeable set, infinite of possibilities, adaptable to any kind of material the channel could put its hands on.
